AI Literacy

Bridging the AI divide, one workshop at a time.

HussAIneers teaches the basics of artificial intelligence to kids, students, and community members so more people can understand and benefit from the opportunities AI creates.

Why it matters

AI should not feel like a closed door.

AI Literacy is a HussAIneers initiative focused on opening access to artificial intelligence education. The goal is to help students and community members understand what AI is, how it is changing the world, and how they can use it responsibly and creatively.

Through sessions and workshops for kids, local mosque communities, and audiences abroad in India, HussAIneers explains technical ideas in approachable language. Teaching these concepts to different audiences strengthens communication skills while deepening understanding of AI, an area increasingly relevant in computer engineering and future careers.

The work also supports public speaking events on AI, helping community audiences connect big technology shifts to everyday learning, opportunity, and responsibility.

AI Literacy Workshop in India

Sarah, Maryam, and Zaynab conducted an AI literacy workshop in India to introduce students and community members to the basics of artificial intelligence. The session focused on making AI understandable, relevant, and less intimidating for learners who are beginning to explore the technology.

The workshop gave the HussAIneers team an opportunity to explain technical concepts to a different audience, strengthen their communication skills, and help bridge the AI divide by opening conversations around AI's opportunities and challenges.
